Seven teams have already booked their spot by winning their Round of 32 match, with more confirming today and through July 4. Teams Confirmed for the Round of 16

Canada

Beat South Africa 1–0 in the Round of 32 — the first-ever World Cup knockout win in Canadian history. Eustáquio’s stoppage-time strike sealed it.

Brazil

Beat Japan 2–1, coming from behind after Japan led early. It’s Brazil’s path to a likely Round of 16 meeting with Ivory Coast or Norway.

Paraguay

Morocco

At World Cup 2026, 48 teams are split into 12 groups (A–L) of four. Once the group stage ends, 32 teams advance to the knockout rounds through:

24 automatic spots: the top 2 finishers in each of the 12 groups
